The P35 can be used in one of two modes - HERO & LIVE. HERO mode comes pre-loaded with 11 inspirational guitar tones from "Clean to Extreme" which take their inspiration from the different amp and effects combinations used on classic guitar recordings. Dialing through each of the HERO modes will also show you the cool LED visual recall - for each mode the position of each of the P35's controls is shown by LED indicators around each knob showing you exactly what each value is. GREAT FEATURE! In LIVE mode the P35's controls function like a conventional WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) amplifier, but with the cool feature of being able to use one of the 11 different AMP setting as a starting point for producing your own tone. Simply select the AMP mode you want, adjust the controls to suit and the add the effects you want and then store the end result to one of the four user channels on the amp by simply pressing and holding the desired channel button for 2 seconds. Any of these AMP modes can be selected and then modified and stored along with the effects you want to one of the four user defined channels. The P35 also features a variable BOOST function, which can be assigned to any of the AMP modes, adjusted to suit your needs and stored in one of the user banks for later recall. The P35 houses a comprehensive multi-FX Palette consisting of 11 carefully selected effect combinations giving you access to all the classic studio quality effects you'll need. Each effects selection is fully editable with all the key parameters accessible by the TAP and EDIT control functions and combinations of the TAP, A, B & bypass buttons, all of which are fully explained in the manual. The P35 generates 35 watts RMS output and houses an 10" Custom Driver.

The P65 is packed full of features. The P65 can be used in two modes of operation: - HERO mode and LIVE mode. Housed in a smart, stylish and thoroughly modern cabinet the LR35's preamp features two identical channels each housing 11 amp models per channel giving you access to up to 22 different amp models. These amp models range from clean to full on distortion and model characteristics of some of Laney's signature tube amp sounds from the VC and the Lionheart ranges through to the mighty Tony Iommi signature TI sound, with variations in between giving you a full tone spectrum. When you select an amp model it not only includes the amps gain characteristics, but also a full set of custom EQ within the model. The L35R's EQ controls are simplicity themselves featuring a Contour control and an overall Presence control. Next come the effects - two banks of effects are supplied; MODULATION effects and DELAY effects, These banks of effects are accessed by a simple rotary control. The fact that the LR35's channels access the same amp model complement makes it possible to cover every amp model switching combination. Think about it, you can go from a clean to a full on metal, or a clean tone with delay to the same tone with a chorus and reverb and a volume increase by simply manipulating the model and effects combinations!
